ABOUT PAX

Pax Kuriger is an inspiring presence in the art world, a creator whose genuine passion for artistic expression is evident in every piece he crafts. With a heart rooted in community and an approach that values both tradition and innovation, Pax’s work bridges the personal and the universal, inviting others to see the world through a lens of creativity and possibility.

Born and raised in New Zealand, Pax was drawn to artistic expression from an early age, channeling his instincts into rebuilding vintage motorcycles, sketching, painting, and encouraging the creative pursuits of those around him. This early engagement with craftsmanship and visual storytelling laid the foundation for his ever-evolving artistic journey.

His relocation to Sydney at the age of 20 opened up new creative avenues, exposing him to a diverse array of global cultures, perspectives, and artistic disciplines. Urban landscapes became his canvas, photography his way of capturing the human experience, and mixed media an ongoing exploration of connection and emotion. The honesty of his urban and abstract photography naturally intertwines with his painting allowing him to develop a visual language that speaks to both raw energy and quiet contemplation. Pax holds a professional certification in photography from the Photography Institute and is a graduate of the Milan Art Mastery Program—experiences that have enriched his artistic growth.

What makes Pax’s work unique is his ability to navigate the space between chaos and serenity, infusing his pieces with movement, depth, and feeling. His art encourages viewers to embrace their own imagination, to find inspiration in everyday moments, and to reconnect with the instinctual joy of creativity. His use of color and texture evokes deep emotion, while his dynamic compositions create a sense of openness and exploration. For Pax, art is an ongoing dialogue—an opportunity to discover, to reflect, and to share.
